The Iraqis making the anti Bush remarks are ALSO in jeopardy of having their families and loved ones KILLED within IRAQ by the rogues who are there wreaking havoc in an country that's NOT EVEN THEIRS......

What are they going to do? Swear a love and loyalty for President Bush, then go home to find their sons murdered, their wives raped and beaten, or worse?

    WAKE UP.

  2. Which proves my point.

If the soccer players fear for their lives and those of their families, they're not really free, are they?

Well.. do New Yorkers fear for their lives, even on a small scale, post 9-11?

If so, then wouldn't that also make them "not free" as well?

Do you feel fear when you step on a plane... just for a moment, just before convincing yourself "planes fly everyday, by the thousands, and accidents and/or terrorist attacks are one in a million..." ???

Everyone lives with fear. But not quite like what Saddam imposed on his people....

He gave "fear" a whole new meaning. I doubt the fear the soccer players have for their families back home can compare to the fear they had when Saddam's son waited for them when they returned from a losing game.

  4. You contended that the Iraqis are saying in public the oppososite of what they really believe because they feared for their lives. That, by definition, is NOT FREE. Not even in the same ballpark -- not even the same game -- as a New Yorker thinking twice about getting on a plane. If it were, you and I wouldn't be arguing on this Web site. And I think you know that.
