I see. When Republicans overwhelmingly agree about something, it’s moral resolve. When Democrats overwhelmingly agree about something, it’s liberal fascism. Someone should inform Harry Reid.
The problem with Sarah Palin — besides being supremely unqualified for the job — is that she’s already shown a dangerous tendency to mix government and religion. Suggesting that an Alaskan pipeline is “God’s will” and approaching a librarian about banning books that offend her are just two examples. Considering that the president and vice-president swear an oath to protect the Constitution, her disregard for the First Amendment, arguably the most important of them all, should in itself disqualify her from office.
And while we're on the topic, why are religious conservatives so eager to get government involved in religion? Hasn’t history — let alone current events — shown that separation of church and state is a very, very good thing for them?
The link I left was to an article by a LIBERAL who is trying to soothe away the tendency of the rest of your kind to go into hysterics about her every time her name comes up. Your response is a prime example.
"Hope has two beautiful daughters. Their names are anger and courage; anger at the way things are, and courage to see that they do not remain the way they are."

ReplyDeleteIs that what qualifies as histrionic these days?
ReplyDeleteI don't care how likable Palin is. She's grossly unqualified to serve as president.
Bush seems much more likable than Gore or Kerry. Look where that got us.
Palin's not running for president.
ReplyDeleteThe grossly unqualified Obama is.
You know full well that the vice president should be prepared to take over for the president from Day One. She's not.
